Gift Ideas For Your Graduate

Peachie Thompson · June 5, 2021

Congratulations to the 2021 graduates! Even a pandemic could not stop you from graduating.

Every year, graduates deserve to celebrate and be celebrated. This past year especially, it seems very appropriate to really celebrate all our students' hard work. After all, it was such a unique school year for them given the fact that the pandemic changed many experiences for all students. There were masks, online learning, social distancing, events cancelled, quarantine periods and the list goes on.

This year, I do not have any graduates but I am organizing an ice cream party for all our students in my community for the last day of school. On top of my favorite gifts to give is the gift of time, food and experience.

If it is not possible to do this, do not worry! You probably also waited the last minute to buy a gift so I'll share with you some of my favorite gifts to give. Most of them you could get via Amazon Prime (you're welcome!) so you don't have to show up empty handed at the party.

#1: Personalized gifts. I like giving personalized gifts to commemorate the occasion. One of my favorites is a Tiffany key chain, especially if your graduate is also getting a car or new dorm/apartment! Tiffany Key Rings

#2: Cute bear with a gift card. Gift cards are easy and practical because it lets the recipient choose what they want. I like this Amazon.com Gift Card in a Premium Box paired with this bear: 10 inches Class of 2021 Graduation Bear Plush

#3: Pocket watch or watch (or any jewelry really). Because I want the recipient to remember me and the occasion whenever the watch is put to use. Silver Pocket Watch - Engraved ‘Class of 2021’

#4: Something funny. Here's an inexpensive and useful one: Funny 2021 Graduation Keychain

#5: Something that describes the graduate. For example, if you have a gamer student with a cool sense of humor, I would totally get this: 2021 Funny Gamer Graduate Graduation T-Shirt

#6: Something inspirational. For those rough times ahead or to simply lift them up when needed. Leather Journal paired with this : Inspirational Bookmark with Tassel 2021 Graduation

#7: Cash with or without a small gift as a holder. No explanation needed here.

#8: Life insurance. One that accumulates money inside the policy that the graduate could access later in life. YES! I said it. What did you expect? I'm a life insurance person! I believe in the benefits of getting insurance as young as possible and having access to tax-free money.

I hope that this helps you with finding the right gift/s for your graduate. Let me know if you gifted any of them by emailing me at peachie@peachinsurance.net. Cheers to the class of 2021!!!
