Peachie's Review of Women's Day EnterCircle at The Link

Peachie Thompson · November 18, 2023

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the Women's Day event organized by The Link, and it was nothing short of inspirational! This event, dedicated to celebrating women's achievements and contributions, was a gathering of women from various industries and career stages, all united in support and empowerment.

I was thrilled to have so many visitors at my table, eager to learn about life, long-term care, and disability insurance. It's always a joy to share knowledge and connect with others who are passionate about securing their future.

The speakers were a highlight of the event. Jan Spence shared valuable leadership lessons, drawing from her experience as a former female football player. The presence of Fr. Rich Pagano added a unique and heartwarming touch. His story about his mother, a working single mom, deeply resonated with me and many others.

Sonya Morales-Marchisillo, CEO and Founder of Pinnacle Communications Group, was also there, sharing her amazing story. Tillery Durbin from 121 Financial offered practical advice on becoming bank loan ready, a session that was especially beneficial for entrepreneurs like me. Tina Bodnar from First Horizon Private Bank discussed important financial matters.

The Greek lunch provided was delicious, a perfect complement to the enriching conversations and networking opportunities. The Women in Business Panel was particularly engaging, offering diverse perspectives and experiences.

Amy Dix's talk on "The Art and Science of Happiness" was an enlightening experience, blending well with the day's positive vibes. Amy amazed the audience with a quick painting of her mother on stage! And Carolynn Castillo's session on planning goals for 2024 was immensely motivating, urging us all to dream big and take action.

The host was Marithza Ross of Action News Jax and she did a great job! Each speaker brought something unique to the table, enriching the day with their knowledge and experiences. What's also unique is Julie Montemerlo, owner of Wise Waves Wellness, giving us a much-needed break throughout the day through breathing exercises!

I encourage everyone to join me next year for this incredible event. It's a fantastic opportunity to meet successful women who are not only achieving great things but are also eager to support and uplift others. Don't miss out on this chance to be inspired and to inspire others!
