September is Life Insurance Awareness Month!

Peachie Thompson · September 1, 2022

September is well-celebrated in the insurance industry as Life Insurance Awareness month. As someone who has been in this industry for 25 years, I have processed claims and seen firsthand what it means for the loved ones left behind to receive a life insurance check during such a difficult time.

This year, Jacksonville's mayor Lenny Curry did something awesome and did an official proclamation for the City of Jacksonville. Check this out:

His proclamation points out some key points about the need for life insurance.

The last part where the proclamation states "ensure their loss does not place any more burdens on those they love" is really what it is all about. If you love someone or something else besides yourself, then you need life insurance.
